Hi, I’m Mobina Hasan. I’m a trauma counsellor, Registered Clinical Social Worker, Clinical Counsellor, and Traumatologist. Since 2010, I have been supporting people through life’s most significant transitions, especially the moments that arrive too soon or bring change you did not feel prepared for.

My approach blends evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with land-based healing, ritual, and Indigenous-informed practices. Psychotherapy offers clarity and understanding, while ceremony creates grounding, authenticity, and a felt sense of transition. Together, these approaches help release what you have been carrying, reconnect you with your resilience, and support you in stepping into the next chapter with intention and meaning.
I do this work because I know how deeply trauma and sudden change can shape a person’s life. My mission is to bring relief as gently and effectively as possible while honouring your culture, identity, values, and lived experience. True healing, to me, is about reconnecting with your authentic self and with the land and community that support you.
